Leon is the founder and a director of Tara Pounamu. Leon has extensive business and consulting experience. This includes assignments working with start-up businesses, large established iwi, large corporates and government. He has been CEO of two iwi. Leon was a partner at Deloitte for 10 years, where he briefly led Auckland’s accounting and advisory services before starting and leading Deloitte’s Māori services practice. Leon now focuses on iwi/Māori Development, new ventures, joint ventures and capital projects that benefit iwi/Māori/indigenous people.

Isaac is a Director at Tara Pounamu. Isaac has eight years of consulting, accounting and virtual chief financial officer experience which includes 5 years at a “big four” firm.

Isaac has worked with a wide range of Iwi/Māori and Pasifika organisations helping them with their strategy, financial training, accounting, taxation and other consulting requirements.
